About the event

Whether you're Blues-Curious, a seasoned All-Star, or somewhere in-between, if you're hoping to work on your Blues dancing, this is the right place for you!

Note: This is a fully masked event (more details below)

2 areas of the room will running simultaneously:

1. Topic Clusters / small group sessions

-- Have a topic you've been wanting to work on or learn about? Awesome! We'll have post-it notes for folks to write down their ideas / desires for the first 10 minutes of practice. At 2:10PM, we'll cluster ideas and have a more experienced dancer take point on the exploration of each topic cluster.

-- "Super duper basics" is 100% a valid topic. As is "What is Blues?"

-- Anyone can choose to join any group, regardless of skill or whether or not they wrote anything down on a post-it note. Anyone is free to join and leave groups at will, as long as they're mindful about not disrupting someone's chain of thought.

-- Clusters may mutate, shift, disperse, or reform depending on the needs of its participants.

2. Open Floor / Social Dance Area

-- Want to break off and work on something on your own or with just one other person? Or maybe head full, no thoughts? Feel free to just hang out on the couches and chat or social dance.

-- Anyone swinging by the practice session late is always welcomed to social dance.

-- We'll even have books on Blues Music and Dancing if you want to introvert!
